What is Yun Jung Do? - The Search For Truth

Quite simply, Yun Jung Do is the culmination of a lifetime of martial arts experience, research and knowledge,
by its Founder, Grandmaster Y. K. Yun.

Yun Jung Do is the art of total human development. It is a carefully planned program that goes beyond the traditional and merely physical boundaries of a martial art. Yun Jung Do is an art form that provides a true philosophical base – one that emphasizes continual self-cultivation and refinement of the mind, body and spirit. Yun Jung Do has been developed to meet the needs of today’s practitioners and sets new standards as a “Human Art”. Yun Jung Do focuses on the individual as an intellectual human being with a strong desire to improve the quality of one’s life. Yun Jung Do is based on Grandmaster Yun’s martial arts experience spanning an entire lifetime.

Yun Jung Do is an art that is based on the ultimate goal to continuously strive to develop the positive qualities within each of us. This includes self-discipline, patience, confidence, compassion, humility, inner calm, and consistent motivation through a developed positive mental attitude, thus, is an art that appeals to men, women and children of all ages.

From a technical viewpoint, Yun Jung Do’s physical aspects are also very important. It is the only system to effectively combine modern scientific principles with traditional teachings to produce a unique blend of old and new.

"Coming from a practicing point of view, I have attended training seminars of many other Masters. In some seminars the Masters will provide lectures. In other seminars, the Master will provide you with only practical lessons. But with respect to Grandmaster Yun, it is entirely different. Grandmaster Young Ku Yun understands each aspect of a martial art - spiritual, practical, theoretical, personal, commercial... Your great art has stolen my heart."

"I am really honoured and greatly humbled to have met Grandmaster Young Ku Yun. The man of so much vision and inspiration. The training seminar was a real eye-opener. In one week, it has allowed me to see new doors opening for me. Opportunities which I would have missed had I not attended the Yun Jung Do seminar. I am prepared to sail with you. On behalf of my people and the Government of Milne Bay, I salute you for what you are doing for our province."

"I am very grateful to you (Grandmaster Yun). Prior to attending your Brisbane seminar, I was lost and could not find my way in the martial arts jungle. On many occasions, I tried to give up training but knew it was in my blood and in my blood for more than 28 years. After I attended your training seminar, I realised how rigid my body movements were. In just two short weeks, I can now execute my movements in a relaxed state and with speed. Yun Jung Do has given me a burst of dynamic energy and I'm motivated to start as many classes as I am able and more importantly, to be a better man in society, economically and socially. Yun Jung Do has taught me to relax and to find my inner calm."
